Hello ... Goodbye

The past month has been a whirlwind as we all prepared for the upcoming changes and tried to spend as much time with Jeff's parents as we could before they left for their mission to Russia.

Dave & Arline spoke in church on March 20th and the week preceding was spent enjoying family that came into town, planning, throwing and attending open houses and trying to keep the kids from distracting Gma & Gpa too much. The kids loved having their cousins and aunts and uncles around so much to play with. They enjoyed playing indoors and outdoors (when the weather cooperated).

Emily loves cooking with Gma

Some guests & the yummy spread from the family open house

Mix 3 crazy brothers, a giant love sac, little kids and a set of stairs.

Yield: Children flying through the air squealing and laughing (and three nervous mothers & a gma)

WE LOVE YOU GMA & GPA!!!

After five days in the MTC, Dave & Arline returned home to enjoy general conference on a comfortable couch. We loved being able to see them for two more precious days and enjoyed listening to the wonderful messages the prophet and apostles shared. Sunday night (April 3rd) the kids said a final goodbye to gma & gpa. Then 5:45am the next morning Jeff took his parents to the airport so they could begin their great Russian adventure. Four days later they arrived safely and they are now working on getting settled into their apartment and figuring out what the next 18 months will bring.
