On the 13th we went to see the Ice Castles in Midway with Jeff's parents, Mike & Niki, and my mom. It was amazing. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised at how cool ice can be (pun not intended). The natural blue of it is beautiful.
We stumbled upon a famous someone hidden in a corner. The kids were thrilled to see him. (Better photo op below)
We took a break and visited the local Dairy Keen for dinner. After tummy's were full and trains were played with we made our way back to the castles to see them all lit up. Another great experience.
It was also more crowded in the dark, but we braved the line to be able to stand close to Olaf and snap another picture.
Thank you Dave & Arline for a most enjoyable night. Definitely a must see and we're so glad you had the idea. And while I was snapping pictures the whole time, unfortunately the one picture I actually got you to be in didn't turn out. :(
