July

4th of July was pretty low key. We hung out at home during the day...

Then had dinner with Jeff's parents, my mom & brother Chris, and Jeff's cousin Emily & her family. Then we pulled out my mom's water slide for a bit.

We finished the night off with our annual jaunt to the country club for fireworks. Great show, great fun, and great company.
A couple of days later we squeezed in a birthday party for Emily. We had a few friends over for cake & ice cream then made our way down to the dollar theater to see "The Croods." It was a fun party and nice that I didn't have much prep or clean up with it. :)

Emily did a week long British soccer camp in July. She learned a few skills and had a lot of fun. The last day they had a fire truck come and spray water and they had a big water party. Jacob loved running around the field with Emily getting all wet.

We celebrated the 24th of July with neighbors and family. We enjoyed Grandpa's snow cones and fireworks in the street. We had a couple close calls with fireworks malfunctioning a bit. But in the end no one was hurt and it was just a fun night to spend with friends.

Then the Saturday after the 24th we had our annual neighborhood breakfast and bike parade.
Brad & Heather were in town with their girls and were able to join us.

Just more fun outside and playing with cousins...
