St. George

Jeff had a course in St George the last weekend in October so we decided to make it a family affair. We headed down on the 20th for a week in the sun.
The kids enjoying the perks of travel - happy meals & movies

We spent our first day hiking in Snow Canyon.

The next day we headed over to Zion's for some more beautiful hiking.

We spent an hour or so on Wednesday at a dinosaur dig site. The highlight being the big sand box out back where the kids got to dig for their own bones.

On Thursday we met up with one of Jeff's friends from his mission in Brazil. Heraldo is attending Dixie State right now and between studying for tests and managing unruly college kids in the apartments he joined us for a good ol' corn maze.

The rest of the days and all the in between times were filled with visits to the pool & playground, watching movies, playing games, eating meals on our patio, and basically just enjoying the warm sunshine and time to relax and be together.

Jeff's rental golf cart car for a couple days while he attended his course:

We finished our trip off with a visit to the St George temple & visitors center before heading home.
