The chicken pox cleared up and we did all we could to make up for the three weeks of imprisonment. First we went to the zoo with Daddy. We hadn't been for several months so it was fun to visit again and see the newly completed carousel. And of course it was nice to get of the house too.
Saying Goodbye
Tuesday Jeff's work had Lagoon Day. We were able to score some extra passes for my parents and younger brother. My sister's family also has season passes so they were able to attend as well. Emily had a blast. She loved everything about it. We had some great food and Emily of course loved the ice cream sandwiches (as evidenced below). They had an employee raffle and Jeff won $20. Emily kept wanting to go on ride after ride. She was in heaven between driving her own car and flying helicopters and airplanes. She even got to ride her first roller coaster (over and over and over again). We planned on staying till she had almost had it and before we knew it the park was closing. Thanks to Aspen Ridge for a great day!Emily's first roller coaster
Riding with cousin Ally
Emily getting her wish to ride the "turkey"
On Friday I went up to my mom's for some more socializing. Unfortunately no other cousins could come play, but Emily had a blast playing anyway. She splashed around in the swimming pool, spent 30 minutes straight jumping on the tramp, very thoroughly watered all of Grandma's flowers, and relaxed a bit in the hammock. It was a great way to beat the heat and my mom & I had a blast watching Emily's enthusiasm.

Sorry we were out of town. I don't know how you got Emily out of the cars. We would love to join you next year and enjoy it with you.
Great pictures! I love the one with Emily's tongue sticking out. It was so fun to go to Lagoon with you. Thanks so much for the invitation.
