Before our 10 week stint back East last Spring we had two really good friends in our ward - Pettigrew's and Lloyd's. Unfortunately upon our arrival home we were informed that both were moving - South Jordan, which is far enough away that playdates could no longer be last minute, and Alaska which, well forget it...we're lucky if we see each other once a year.
So the other night Marli (So. Jordan - not Alaska) called and needed an emergency babysitter for her boys. Emily was thrilled to have Hayden over. She of course was highly disappointed when she realized she had to go to bed in her bed and not sleep on the air mattress with Hayden.

Then a couple of days later we joined Sara (Alaska) at Marli's for a reunion. The kids had so much fun together. They ran around, screamed, jumped, hit, cried, and laughed for hours. It was hard to get them to sit still and eat lunch. Sara, Marli, & I were (at times) able to hear each other over the cacophony the kids were making and caught up a little bit. As we were leaving I remembered I had my camera and so we tried to get some pics.

Unfortunately with taking the pictures as we were leaving, it was already past bedtime.

But we did get Hayden to calm down and be in a picture - he just wasn't very happy about it.

Baby Xander was content to just watch the kids that day.
It was fun to see you Sara! Thanks for having us over Marli -and South Jordan isn't really that far away, especially when you compare it to Alaska. I guess we should stop complaining and get together more.

How fun that you all were able to get together. All the kids look so grown up now!
Cute pictures minus my crying child. That was a fun play date and we really should get together more often. :)
Hey Bec,
Thanks for the plug that we still exist up here and that we are still friends after bailing out of the country (well, kind of...)
Thanks and miss you guys, too!
